yucky roads!
I am so glad that the snow stopped. We had to go to SLC to PCMC today. the worse roads were from home to Brigham City. then the further south we went the better and drier the roads. Now lets hope that it is good roads tomorrow. Because we go back down to PCMC.

Holiday?
It was a great day. I tended Matt and Maddy today, and surprise Mommy M came home early. All her patients were released or moved. So then i stopped and checked on Grandma and Grandpa Selman. Went to Logan to fill some prescriptions. Stopped and visited with Brittney, and brought her laundry home to do. Maybe she will get over this way on Wednesday to get it. Chris and I made Jonah a scooter board. Made sauerkraut and brauts for dinner. That it the third time since New Years. What a treat. Tomorrow it is off to Primary Childrens for and echo cardiogram, and the heart specialist.

Great weekend
yesterday was the first day that I have had home with nothing on my calender. I began by finally getting back to doing the Wii fit. It felt good to exercise again. It was a good day to clean my house. We got all the laundry done. The floors swept, mopped, and vacuumed. We even got things dusted. I didn't even leave my house. It felt so good. but setting at the doctors and hospital i get some reading done. I think that I have read 4 books since the first of the year. I about 6 maybe 8 new digital scrapbook pages done. This week I should be able to add to these numbers. Church today was good. I had to miss most of Relief Society to go and take care and Grandma and Grandpa Selman. They called me right after Relief Society started. But I was back in time for Sunday School and Sacrament meeting. (I need to clarify. I started taking my cell phone, on vibrate, to church. Since Dave left I never know if Tanya will have problems and need health. And since Dean and Janets health has had troubles, I never know what will happen.

What a January!!
January is just flying by. I don't have much to show so far, and by the looks of my calender I won't get much accomplished during the rest of it. I have spent a lot of time at doctors and hospitals. Not for me luckily. Grandma Janet fell on the ice the day after christmas. She landed on her face. So we spent 6-8 hours in the emergency room in logan with her. I was worried about her leg. She said that her left leg hurt just above the knee. This is the leg that has a steel rod and 21 straps holding it together. I was afraid that she had broken it at the bottom of the rod. But luckily that wasn't the case. She just has 4 fractures in her face. Which luckily all stayed in place. She had a severe concussion, which is still bothering her. So that was Saturday. On Monday we went to the dentist because her teeth had really bleed and they needed to be checked. On Wednesday we went to an ENT for the broken bones in her face. they thought that everything looked okay, but they gave her an antibiotic so that she wouldn't get a sinus infection. So this affected her Protime, her blood got really thin. She kept having bloody noses. that were getting harder and harder to get stopped. so we went to her regular doctor on the 5 of January and her blood was way to thin. Then that afternoon she got a nose bleed and that after 45 minutes we couldn't stop so I took her to the Tremonton ER. After 3 hours, of them working on it they transferred her to Logan. The ENT came in and worked on her for 3 more hours. When they finally had it packed enough that it stopped bleeding. They admitted her and 2 days later she came home from the hospital. Then back to the ENT on Saturday when they took the packing out. Meanwhile, Grandpa Dean got sick on us New Years Day, He was diagnoised with pnemonuia on January 2. When I left their last night I think that they are both doing okay. But it all starts over this week when Grandpa Dean has an outpatient heart procedure. But they will keep him over night to watch him. He has a hole in his heart that never closed at birth. He has had two minor strokes since Halloween. So hopefully this will go smoothly.
I have been with Jonah to a doctors appointment and have two more next week. Dave left for the Navy, this month. I have tended Jonah a couple of days and tended Matt and Maddy 5 days this month. So I guess I don't get to slow down yet. Lets hope that February is slower.
Sorry for the journal entry. But everyone wonders why I haven't blog. today is my first day home that I haven't had to be somewhere, and Chris is out to work.

what a week
It has been great having Alashandra and Zeke here from Texas. I picked them up in SLC last Monday and they fly out again tomorrow. Zeke has really grown and changed since we moved them down to Texas. Beside having them here I have taken Grandma Janet to the Doctor for a UTI, and we go to a urologist on this Wednesday. We had Grandpa Dean into the Emergency room on Tuesday night, with high blood pressure, and another small stroke. It has taken us 3 days to get it down to an acceptable range. But we go see the Doctor tomorrow morning. Then last night was Dean and Janet Selman Christmas party. And I was in charge of it. We had it at Mitch and Morgans home. They were so gracious to let us have it there. There was the potential of 65 people. But we only had 50. Grandma and Grandpa Selman couldn't even come they were both sick. Grandma with the flu, and Grandpa with a headache from the high blood pressure. So we had odels of food. and I hope that everyone got full and had a good time. Well I havea head ache tonight so i guess that I had better get to bed. I have to leave here at 7:15 so that I can have Dean at the doctor at 8:15. You never know how the roads will be.
I will hate to see Alashandra and Zeke leave, but I think that Zeke will be glad to see his daddy. He is not so sure about the strangers that we keep seeing. Hope that they have a safe trip home.

Our theme for Leadermete was, Golden Spike Country We Train Leaders" We had a logo of two trains meeting at Promontory. This is a picture of the registration table. We built kind of old train platforms throughout the conference. The other is of the train platform that took you to the general meeting room. Each classroom was named a name of an old railroad stop from the old transcontinental railroad. Then we had a contest to see how well they paid attention at the awards banquet. It was alot of fun!! But we had a committe that work on this with us for 18 months, to pull this together.
These are just a few pictures of Leadermete!!
