Unexpected house guests!

At 5:45 this evening I received a phone call from a neighbor, to see if I ran a bum lamb adoption agency. I told him that I would take them. But I first had to run into town to get some lamb milk. So I ran to IFA and got there 3 minutes before they closed.

Then I went and met my new babies. Not knowing a lot about the situation that they were born in. Come to find out they are a set or triplets, two boys and a girl. But Kevin was giving one of the little boys to someone at work. But he needed someone to take the other two.
The mom has Blue bag, (basically mastitis), on both sides. So she will never have milk for these little guys.
A
fter seeing them and knowing that they had never drank I was sure hoping that I had a few vials of colostrum at home in the closet. The little boy (his name is Hansel) was very weak and had a hard time standing. The little girl ( her name is Gretel) was doing fairly well. Ater getting them home and cleaning everything off the floor in my wash room. I started trying to get these little ones to eat. Gretel took right to sucking a bottle. She drank 2 ounces like it was nothing. Hansel is a different story. I had to really work to get 1 ounce of milk down Hansel. Then I went to look in the cupboard with all my lamb supplies in. And was excited to find to doses of colostrum. I was able to get 15 cc of colostrum down each of them. Then after running a few errands and trying little Maddy's dress on her, I came home and Hansel was standing. Then Hansel drank an ounces out of a baby bottle, and Gretel drank 3 ounces out of a lamb bottle. I will feed them again at 11 tonight, my goal is to have each of them drinking 2-3 ounces at each feeding.
Tomorrow I will have to go and buy some plain yogurt to put in their bottles.

Wedding is coming together.

I have made progress on the wedding. I now have all of my clothes except a new pair of nylons. I may need to pick up a necklace of some kind.

I have got all 5 little boys vests and ties done. So they are ready. I have started Maddy's dress. Britt thinks that she needs a red sash to wear on her dress at the reception. It is started, but I need Britt to try it on so that I know long to make it. Then I think all that is left is her veil. I can get it cut out while my machine is in the shop.

I have had some family members that have volunteered to make desserts for the wedding. I plan on making some that week before the wedding.

So I think that it is coming together.

I feel like a chicken with my head cut off!!

this week is scheduled everyday. On Monday I got five little vests made out of scrap material. Then I sent one to Logan to have Kaden try on. One was mailed to Texas for Zeke to try on. One was mailed to Ogden, for Garrison to try on. Then I tried on Matt and Jonahs. theirs fit so I hope that one night I get started on the real things. Sometime in there we went to Logan to watch them take Brittney and Tysons engagement pictures.

Today I helped serve the IFA customer appreciation day Dinner. Then I had to go and pick up Bandit at the Vet. I dropped him off at 8 this morning, and picked him up at 4:15. I left him there so that they could neuter him. I hope that he will quit trying to mark his territory. He i still a little sore and sleepy. Then I went hometeaching with Chris.

Wednesday I tend Matt and Maddy. so i wont get home until about 6 pm. Then it is time to shower so that I can play and tend Jonah. And it is also time to fix dinner.

Thursday is a Dean and Janet day. We have to be in Logan at 11 to have their taxes figured, and then at 2 pm Janet has bladder and kidney ultrasounds. Then it is the doctor at 2:30. Then we will see what they find. So I hope that I will be home by 4 pm so that I can make a dessert for the elders and high priest valentines party, at 6:30. But maybe I will get it made before we leave in the morning at 10:15. Will see.

Friday is Bandits birthday. He will be one. I get to tend Matt and Maddy again, and play all day.

Then it is Saturday maybeI will get some sewing done then. There is nothing on the calender except Daves Birthday. by then zeke and Garrison and Kaden should have thier vest and be able to tell me how they fit.

So that is the way this week is going to be.

Wedding plans coming along.

The wedding is coming along fine. We soon need to get the engagement pictures taken. We need to find flowers so that Tanya can get started on the bouquet. Morgan is doing the cake. We have the wedding dress ordered. The one she liked they only had in off white in her size. But it is ordered and should be here by the 10 of March, no later than he 15. So we might be cutting it close. But I have my dress. I have the material to make her veil. I also have fabric to make the vest for the five little boys and Maddy's dress. I know that Alashandra has found he dress in Texas. They have their airline tickets bought. They will fly in on March 10 and stay with Matts family until the 15. Then they will come and stay with us until they fly out on the 22.

For your information Brittney will take out her endowments on Tuesday, March 16 at 5:15. All of you family members are invited to come with her. My life at the moment I don't get out and see many of you. So know that you are invited.

As for the reception since at the moment money is an issue in our life . We are making refreshment simple. We were going to do a cookie bar. But then someone offered to make a pan dessert, So now we are going to do a dessert bar with various homemade desserts. So if anyone wants to make a pan of your favorite dessert. of batch of cookies, let me know. I appreciate all that you all do for us.

Great Company!!

I figured that today would just be Tanya, Jonah, Chris and me. We ended up with Matt and Maddy at church, Morgan had to work today, Mitch woke up sick, with a fever. So I went and got the kids. Then they had to bath here at Grandma's so we didn't bring Mitch's sick germs into the house around Jonah. Then Brittney and Tyson and Helen and Missy, Brittney roommates. all came to church also. Then everyone stayed to eat dinner. We had a great time visiting and playing. Now everyone is gone and it is quiet again. Jonah had a great time watching all the people. He is doing better with crowds of people.

Drs and ER

I am not sure about the VA clinic. I called this morning to make an appointment for Dean because his meds have changed so much. and they said to com in this afternoon. So I was just walking out of the house when he called and they asked if he had been fasting. The the blood tests he was having today he needed to be fasting. When he said no they said that there was now reason to come. Then about 10 minutes later Tanya was doing physical therapy with Jonah and when she had his knees locked straight standing. He lost his balance and fell side ways. She felt something pop around the knee area. So we took off fro PCMC to the Er. The x rays showed no broken bones. So it is probably soft tissue damage. So it will just take time to heal. We are so relived that that is all it is.

yucky roads!

I am so glad that the snow stopped. We had to go to SLC to PCMC today. the worse roads were from home to Brigham City. then the further south we went the better and drier the roads. Now lets hope that it is good roads tomorrow. Because we go back down to PCMC.
